Rental Terms

1. Property

The rental property is the accommodation specified in the booking confirmation.

2. Rental Period

The rental period begins and ends as stated in the booking confirmation.

Check-in: after 5:00 PM
Check-out: by 11:00 AM

Exceptions may be agreed in writing between the host and the guest.

3. Rent and Payments

The rental price and any additional fees (cleaning, linens, pet fee, etc.) are determined by the confirmed booking rate at the time of reservation.

4. Guest Responsibilities

• The guest is responsible for using the property and its contents with care.
• Any damage or loss must be reported immediately to the host.
• Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.
• Pets must be declared in advance if permitted.
• Parties or events that may cause disturbance are not allowed.

The guest must follow local rules, respect neighbors, and keep noise to a minimum during quiet hours.

5. Host Responsibilities

The host ensures that the accommodation is clean, equipped, and safe at the beginning of the stay.
If unexpected maintenance issues arise, the host will do their best to resolve them promptly.

6. Insurance and Liability

• The guest is responsible for personal travel insurance and their own belongings.
• The host maintains property insurance that covers the building but not the guest’s personal property.
• If the guest causes damage intentionally or through negligence, the host may claim full compensation for the loss.

7. Cleaning and Keys

• Final cleaning is included only if stated in the booking.
• The guest must leave the property tidy: remove trash, wash dishes, close doors and windows.
• A €100 fee applies for lost keys or access cards.

8. Cancellations

Cancellations follow the rules of the booking channel used (Airbnb, Booking.com, Lodgify Direct).

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by Finnish law.
Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably through negotiation.

By completing the booking, the guest acknowledges and agrees to these rental terms and conditions.
